Los Angeles Dodgers (45-27) versus Tampa Bay Rays (41-27)
LOS ANGELES, CA—The Tampa Bay Rays and Los Angeles Dodgers meet in a marquee interleague showdown this week, with both clubs entering as contenders in their respective leagues and looking to build momentum as summer approaches.
Their most recent head-to-head matchup came in Tampa Bay from August 1st–3rd, 2025, when the Dodgers took two of three games, including shutout wins of 5–0 and 3–0 to secure the series victory.
That result continued Los Angeles’ recent edge in the matchup and adds another layer of intrigue as the Rays now travel west for the latest installment.
Tampa Bay enters the series playing .500 baseball over its last 10 games (5–5), showing flashes of strong form including a recent three-game win streak before dropping a series to the Angels.
Meanwhile, the Dodgers have mirrored that same 5–5 mark over their last 10 contests, splitting results during a recent road swing and looking for more consistency despite maintaining one of the league’s best overall records.
With both teams similarly balanced in recent play and coming off a competitive 2025 meeting, this series sets up as an early-summer test between two postseason-caliber clubs.
